around here we could use brain. -- we could use rain. showers are moving through south-central virginia. i don't agree will get any of that around baltimore. it has been a long time since we've seen rainfall around maryland. mostly sunny for the rest of the afternoon. we will stay between these two this afternoon. mostly sunny, breezy, unseasonably warm. average high temperature is 81. we will make it to the low 90s probably. 80s and the mountains as the winds shift to the west and northwest. cool air starts to work in and we will drop to the 50's by early tomorrow morning. low sixties in the city. high pressure comes in off of the great lakes and the winds will be coming out of the north and northwest. high temperatures will be in the 70's for the next couple of days. if you are and autumn weather fan, you will like the forecast at the end of the week. high 78 tomorrow. overnight the temperatures -- overnight low temperatures will be in the 50's. nice start to the weekend on saturday. next chance for any significant rainfall will be on

kind of really staying nice and clear out there for us. there was a few thin clouds, see them passing by from our weather net time lapse photography. then down to dc, not a cloud in the sky today in washington. just beautiful, beautiful weather to wrap up the last day of march and the beautiful night down there as they celebrate the cherry blossoms as well. wind gusts a little high today as we see about that piece in the park. 25 from arnold. gusty at times today, no doubt about it. highs today up around 70, cooler back across the chesapeake and north but still not bad. statewide, much the same story. warmer out here in western maryland. 71 was the official high at bwi and we cooled off to 57 at bwi, but most of the surrounding area is down too close to 50 if not the upper 40s so i think we'll see that in the baltimore area as well. five sweeps showing all clear tonight on the radar and expecting it to stay quiet the next several days. going to take a while before we see any additional wet weather that. is a good thing because the ground i
